Terms & Conditions
We expect these retreats to be a GO!
And, in the unlikely event that Costa Rica closes its borders to US travelers prior to our scheduled departure dates because of the pandemic…
We got you!
We will have alternative travel dates in February 2023 (and your deposit and any funds paid will automatically be rolled over to the new dates). If you want to OPT OUT of the automatic rollover and receive a refund, you must let Julie and Beth know by email within 14 days of notification of the change in trip dates.
Payment in full must be received before January 5, 2022. Except as set forth above, any cancellation will result in a total loss of the $600.00 deposit. All cancellations must be in writing. Any cancellation received before January 5, 2022 will result in a loss of 50% of the retreat price. Any cancellation made after January 5, 2022 will result in a total loss of funds. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it's not meeting the trip minimum, however, your funds would be fully refunded.
HEART RESTART RETREAT:

Any cancellation received before January 12, 2022 will result in a loss of 50% of the retreat price. Any cancellation made after January 12, 2022 will result in a total loss of funds. For the safety of all participants, and out of respect for all Costa Ricans, we are requiring all participants to be fully vaccinated by at least 30 days prior to departure.
We recommend that you travel with hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes and masks (you will find all of those items readily available in Costa Rica, too, in case you need more when we’re there.) Of course, all airport & airline requirements should be followed, and we will follow any requirements and guidelines in Costa Rica.
In addition, we’ll have the entire floor in Monteverde and hotel in Samara to ourselves. And all group transportation will be private too. We’ve arranged this to give you the most amount of protection possible.
We ask that you use your common sense when dining out, shopping and going out and about. We will do everything we know to keep you safe, and we trust you will, too.
Currently, all participants are required to have proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken no more than three (3) days prior to departure from Costa Rica to United State or show documentation of recovery (proof of a recent positive viral test and a letter from your healthcare provider stating that you are cleared to travel). Covid tests will be arranged by Julie and Beth prior to participants’ departure to the United States to meet current requirements at time of travel.
Trip cancellation insurance is always a good idea when making travel plans. You can use Travel Guard Insurance online or search for additional options online.
At this time, Costa Rica requires US citizens to have special medical insurance that would cover your expenses should you become infected with Covid-19 during our time there. We will continue to monitor the requirements, and will keep you up to date as we get closer to our departure date.
Here are a couple options for you to explore in the meantime:
NOTE: We will share all of this information with you again after your registration is complete.
